Pika-Power!

*cuts ribbon* Welcome to the brand new blog! There’s still some things I want to add, but I really wanted to get this up and running (I know, I’m so impatient! ) This is still just a personal blog; nothing special. Because none of my stories are up yet, I’ll keep the old blog open until everything gets moved over. If you see anything wrong with this theme — which wouldn’t surprise me — please leave a comment, and I’m also open to suggestions and criticisms as long as they’re not outright flames.

Pokemon fever seems to be going around with the release of HeartGold and SoulSilver. I for one have re-fallen in love with Pikachu for reasons unknown. When we had major snowfall earlier in February, I announced to my brother that together we were going to make a Snow-chu. Though Snow-chu wasn’t made until one of the very last days before the big melt down, we did get it done!

My brother did have a mini Snow-chu he made so we could use it as a reference point when we made the bigger Snow-chu but he destroyed it before I could take a picture of it. He also made a mini Totoro out of snow. We placed it on Snow-chu’s head after we were finished. I think mini Totoro was the first thing to melt completely during the big melt down.

And that’s not all! I have a pikachu plushie located somewhere in this house that says “Pikachu!” when you squeeze it. I also folded a rather cute pikachu origami that’s sitting next to my laptop as I type. I want to make another one~ And my army of pikachu are currently sitting on top of a little shelf above me.

So what’s next? Trying to catch a pikachu on HeartGold or at least a pichu to raise. And then maybe… more pikachu origami?
