As of right now, this layout is my favorite. This layout is a Wordpress theme that I created for my own use. The image used is a Victoria Frances artwork. At the time, I was pumped up over Twilight and wanted to create a vampire inspired layout. Though the design is fairly simple, it took a while to finish because of everything that I had to create. I created all the mini icons and ended up customizing quite a few pages. All the small bugs that were in Deum Mortis were worked out in this one (no more IE hacks!). Because the color scheme is purple and pink, I played around with the attributions of the bold, italic, slash, underline, and links to give the allusion of more color.

This layout was the first blend-ish layout I’ve done in a long time. It’s fairly simple and yet elegant. The design didn’t take too long to make; the coding took forever. The layout is a complicated div layout, and what was extremely frustrating to code was the side navigation. I added a really neat rollover effect to the navigation just below the header, which I think is my favorite feature to the layout.

This layout is a customized Wordpress theme I created for myself. I went through and created all the mini icons used on the theme, as well as a set of smilies. The layout itself isn’t my first Wordpress theme, but the first good theme I created. A lot of the pages are basic without any special customizations, but I did make sure that every thing was consistent throughout. One of my favorite features on the layout were the headers for entries. The series featured is Death Note, so I used one of the notes and placed it in the headers. The navigations also have a death note at the bottom.

This is my first custom layout done for a friend. She found an image and gave me full freedom on how I wanted it to be done. The original image was actually so intricate that I decided to blend it together instead of cutting it out. Though it’s bright, I’m still really fond of it and my friend loved it.

I created this complicated div layout for a layout contest. Wishing to use a fairly different style, I managed to use little to no outside resources. The colors used are a bit darker than what I’d usually use for the main image, but it’s simple, fast loading, and definitely grabs your attention.
